Artist Statement
When I was little, time stood still for me when I opened the lid of my
mother's jewelry box. Arranging the pieces across her bed, I spent
hours immersed in a world of play and make believe.
The jewelry you find here is a collection of special pieces that will
enhance your own personal style and delight your inner child.
My jewelry is affordable, well made, and wearable. I believe jewelry
should be fun, not pretentious.
I began making mosaics in 2000 as a diversion from silver smithing.
Creating mosaics for me is spontaneous and fast paced while making
jewelry is deliberate and more time consuming. The mosaics are
about fun, color, and joy of life. My studio is divided between jewelry and
mosaic areas and I switch back and forth between the two.
